The source is from a Catholic sect that follows the teachings of a little woman who claimed to be a "victim soul," chosen by JESUS to inflict His crucifixion sufferings on her, so she would become a "co-savior." She claimed to have "saved" thousands of "souls" herself. Underlying are apparently Catholic teachings that JESUS continuously "suffers" and "dies" every day in their Mass, that His sufferings never end, while we born-again Christians believe in the Bible that says that JESUS died once, and for all 2000 years ago, that he is currently not a "suffering victim" but a victorious Savior and King in heaven, reigning in the Glory of God !!! Here is a clip from Catholic doctrine:
Reverend John F. Whealon, Archbishop of Hartford, wrote:
The Mass is thus the same as the sacrifice of the cross. No matter how many times it is offered, nor in how many places at one time, it is the same sacrifice of Christ. Christ is forever offering Himself in the Mass. [116](Reference page: http://www.sohmer.net/GoR/15-transubstantiation.php#actual_sacrifice) .
On the cross, JESUS said, "It is finished."
In this great YouTube video, somebody has found the official Catholic doctrine about the power of the priest and their belief about the Catholic Mass, how the priest has more power than anything in heaven and COMMANDS JESUS to come down and "suffer" on their altars (i.e, LIVE suffering):

This is what the Bible, New Testament says, that completely refutes every false teaching that JESUS continuously "suffers" or needs human "co-saviors" because He supposedly didn't do a good enough job of saving the human race. The following passage is so clear and direct, that some Catholic priests have left their profession and their church after reading this, because what they were taught the "Mass" was about stood in direct conflict:
HEBREWS 7:
26For such an high priest became us, who is holy, harmless, undefiled, separate from sinners, and made higher than the heavens; 27Who needs not daily, as those high priests, to offer up sacrifice, first for his own sins, and then for the people's: for this he did once, when he offered up himself. 28For the law maketh men high priests which have infirmity; but the word of the oath, which was since the law, maketh the Son, who is consecrated for evermore."
11And every priest standeth daily ministering and offering oftentimes the same sacrifices, which can never take away sins: 12But this man, after he had offered one sacrifice for sins for ever, sat down on the right hand of God; 13From henceforth expecting till his enemies be made his footstool. 14For by one offering he hath perfected forever them that are sanctified. 15Whereof the Holy Ghost also is a witness to us:"
They literally claim this woman has "saved" thousands of souls. I remember reading that her doctors could find nothing physically wrong with her, yet she spent the rest of her life in bed, curled up in a little ball, claiming that she was "suffering" and thus "saving" the world. She had no signs of alleged "stigmata" that some claim.
It's a very nice picture of JESUS. I don't have any problem believing it could have appeared miraculously, but I find it completely SAD that they interpret this as JESUS giving his approval to their strange human "savior." Does this beautiful smiling JESUS look like a guy that is enjoying inflicting pain on human beings? He sure doesn't to me. The Catholic church teaches that when JESUS comes into the bread (this photo is taken at the "consecration" when JESUS is supposed to come into the bread), he is "suffering" and "dying" on their "altar" currently. As their above doctrine statement says, that it's an ongoing sacrifice, that they believe JESUS is going through his sufferings over and over, but in the photo, JESUS appears looking perfectly healthy and happy with all his clothes on. He is NOT "suffering," nor does He need or choose so-called "victim souls" to inflict his crucifixion pains on to torture them because he needs extra human "saviors."
The woman whom the sect follows was examined by many doctors, and there was NOTHING physically wrong with her. She died at 82 of pneumonia, and that was the only ailment she was ever diagnosed with. In other words, she was making it up, portraying herself as this great "mystic." Very similar to these "stigmatists." Every one I have seen, there has been question and evidence of them self-inflicting the supposed "wounds."
It's just a popular thing in the Catholic church, "mystics," supposedly "bleeding" statues with tubes inside them, and these so-called "victim souls" that are supposedly "saving souls." Another popular subject in the Catholic church is having visions of Mary, and people getting alleged "messages" from Mary and/or Jesus. When I was in New Age this was called "channeling." In the Catholic church it's called "locutions." These are messages that are nothing more than a person's thoughts of words they imagine JESUS (or Mary) might say.
As a survivor of s*x abuse in early childhood (age 4-6) by a religious Catholic, the idea that I was "chosen" by God to be molested to somehow "save" me or the world is frighteningly similar (actually it's identical) to what the molester told me. No idea could be more repulsive to me or make me shake worse. I believe in a JESUS and a GOD who is/are there to HELP me in any sufferings and COMFORT me, not a Divine Sadist. I believe in a JESUS who LOVES the little children and HATES child abuse !!!
I believe that this could be a "miraculous" picture, as I have seen JESUS myself, and this does look like Him, but that "a picture is worth 1000 words," and His purpose in this picture would be to show these poor souls the the REAL JESUS is not a "suffering victim" at all, but a glorious Risen Savior, that He is there to HELP PEOPLE, to COMFORT US through His "Holy Spirit," that He is not continually "suffering" and that He is absolutely not picking "victim souls" to torture, and that the entire idea of human "saviors" or "co-saviors" saving souls is extremely off-the-wall. In the olden days, that would have been called "heresy."
A PICTURE IS WORTH 1,000 WORDS. The JOY of the LORD is my STRENGTH. GOD'S REAL WILL is the "rest" that comes from simply BELIEVING IN JESUS !!!
